Welcome to Swallows Loft - a recently refurbished first floor holiday apartment - which offers a tasteful and comfortable holiday home with oil central heating, pine furniture, T.V, video and DVD player. The apartment also offers sleeping accommodation for four people, with three extra available (please ask for details).
Set within the grounds of a delightfully secluded country cottage, the accommodation offers a kitchen with an electric cooker, fridge and microwave; large lounge with dining area including pine table and chairs, comfortable settee, 2 seater chaise lounge with chairs, also a bed settee and comfortable camp bed; double bedroom complete with double bed and bunk beds which goes to make this a cosy room for two or a comfortable family room; pretty shower room with wash basin, shaver point and W.C..
Swallows Loft is ideally situated for a quiet get-away-from-it-all break in the lovely Staffordshire countryside. Just six miles from the Derbyshire border and market town of Ashbourne
. If you like walking in the Peak District then Dovedale is only 10 miles away, while Alton Towers is just three miles away.
Staffordshire has many delights to discover with the Churnet Valley and Cannock Chase nearby. While in Staffordshire why not visit the potteries and the lovely canalways.
If all you want to do is relax and unwind, Swallows Loft has a private patio with seating and a peaceful garden and orchard frequented by wild birds.
A gas barbecue, travel cot and high chair are available on request and all linen and towels are provided. A washing machine and tumble drier are also available for use at a nominal fee. Secure garage space is available on request.
The Weaver Hills and Carsington Reservoir are all within a short distance. Excellent pub meals and a village store are approximately two miles away. The Tissington Trail, Waterhouses manifold valley cycle hire and pony trekking are all available in the locality.
Uttoxeter's new Dove Fields retail park is just 15 minutes drive away, this new complex has a TenPin Bowling, a 3 screen Cinema, 24 Tesco, KFC and other high street shops.
